Iks aquastar luxus and iks aquastar lux. Flicker-free sunrise. The tube lighting units iks aquastar luxus are made of aluminium and fitted with dimmable, electronic ballast units by Osram and are available for the fluorescent tubes T5 and T8. In contrast to the tube lighting units from numerous other manufacturers that require an additional timer for switching off the tubes, iks aquastar luxus units can be operated from 0 to 100% power. This function is made possible by an extra, internally integrated electronic system. Dimming occurs via a low-voltage interface such as the one provided in the iks aquastar SIMMOD module. A switch allows the lighting to be set manually at any time to 100% for maintenance work for example. As you can see, as is so often the case, the decisive difference is in the little details. The version iks aquastar lux is also equipped with Osram electronic ballast units, but this unit is not dimmable. Both models are of course waterproof, tested by the German TÜV and available in a variety of wattages.
Comfort: Low weight and temperature. No flashing or flickering, not even during dimming and ignition. Electronic monitoring switches off faulty lamps. No bothersome humming noises. Efficiency: Up to 25% lower power consumption. Up to 50% longer lamp life. Conclusion: A worthwhile investment.
